Documents for 2nd time visitor visa application

Hi, I have applied for visitor visa a year back and it was rejected saying no show invitation letter from my relative at USA. Am planning to apply for second time visa once again but have a query. Shall i use same old documents with invitation letter for second time visa appointment now? Also suggest the mandatory documents required for visitor visa?

I am sorry to know that you had a visa refusal last year. According to the U.S visa refusal policy, the consular officer must provide with you a written letter stating the reason of refusal. The most common reason to refuse a visa is 214(b). Please check and let me know the reason. I am sure it is under section 214(b).

According to your stated reason of rejection 'No show invitation letter from relative in the USA'. If this is the situation what you have stated here then the consular officer must informed you in writing under section 221(g) with a list of documents what he/she needed to make a final decision and you should be informed verbally that you have one year time to submit the required documents from the date of letter and your case was kept pending until they received the documents from you.

I believe you misunderstood, and your case was rejected with 214 (b).
