Query regarding Tax Return and W2 document for sponsoring visitor visa

Hi,

I have come to NJ,USA this month, i.e. in Jan'15, on H1B and working here as a software professional. I want to sponsor my mother's visitor visa 3 months from now, i.e. in March'15, so that she can visit USA. Is it mandatory to have my tax return document or W2 to get my mother's visitor visa done. I need to know this as I have not completed a year to have any tax return document. What are my options ??

A tax return copy for inviting someone to come on a B2 visa is not mandatory. An invitation letter with some information about your resources is recommended.
