visitor visa help

Hi,

My Parent-in-law visiting US and i have a question about it. Lets assume, ticket booked for below dates,

stay period:

From : 05/05/2015
to: 10/05/2015.

once thy reached USA on date and my father in law wants to visit india for one month b/w the above dates and wants to come back to USA again to spend till 10/05/2015. Is this possible to do once they came here and going back to india and coming again?

Is there any hurdles? please share your thoughts/opinion.

Generally they allow like that if the visit is to Canada or other neighbor countries before expiry date of i94.

It's not wise to do like that and if that work is really important, let your father-in-law finish it and come to USA.

With a very strong and valid reason they may allow but if it is just a casual visit then his action may count as abusing the visa.
