I attended the US embassy in London November 10 for interview to gain a exemption visa due to my past criminal record. During the interview I read that the process could take 6 months before I am given a decision. This is were my worries start as I was not aware until late September I would need to apply for a visa due to my criminal convictions, I had already booked flights and accommodation for our Honeymoon which should start 18 March 2015. At my interview I was told by the officer that although it states it will take 6 months that currently decisions were taking approx 3 months to be completed. I know I should have faith but I am beginning to panic. Can someone give me any information that can ease my worries.
