After long wait got interview confirmed for my inlaws on Jan 18th'2006 in telugu.

    Questions:
    1. Do i need to provide my last 3 yrs income tax returns and W2s? Or it is only if someone is self-employed? (Iam not self-employed)

    2. Statement from the bank?
I bought a real estate property last year and moved 60% of my savings
to pay my equity reserve loan. Now, i have only 16k in my savings acct.

2a.Is 16k enough to mention as savings to support my inlaws?
2b.Do i shown as financially weak as i withdrawn more than 60% of my
savings in just one year to pay my equity reserve loan?
2c. How can i show my real estate property as a biggest asset and
the equity i build up already which is more than 100K now?

    3. I want to bring my parents within one month after i bring my inlaws. Is
there a possibility that my parents get rejected as my inlaws would have
been already appeared for the interview by that time?

    thanks in advance,
    RG

      Hi

      hi
3 years income tax and W2 is wht is required be it self employed or not

16k is sufficient. First time when I sponsored my mil I showed only 11k. However if you are worried you can add the value of your property in the form I134. There is a spcae " I have other personal property, the reasonable value which is" here you can enter your property value.

        Thanks for the reply.
But, it is mentioned in the I-134 form filling instructions that income tax returns is needed only if somebody is self-employed.

Is there any consulate site that mentions income tax returns and w2s are needed even somebody is NOT self-employed?

        Thanks,
        RG
