Hi,
How long does a visitor visa b2 candidate has to stay in India before he can visit USA again for the second or third time? Considering the previous stay in USA for 5 months and wants to visit again after a month.

If one visits frequently USA on a visitor visa, he or she may escape 1 or 2 times and will be flagged at POE when arrives 3rd time. Will be subjected to lot of questioning and may even be sent back This had happened to a friend of mine who visited frequently.
Ideal situation is if one stays in USA for 6 months, he or she is expected to stay in home country more than what heshe did in USA. 8-9 months stay in home country is ideal
