my brother is in australia?

Hi all!!

My parents got a visa appointment at chennai consulate.My husband is sposoring them.They both hold government jobs and have some property too. My concern is i have only one brother who lives in Australia.Can my parents say that he is in india,would they verify the fact that he is not in india?Do we need to show supporting documents proving that my brother is in india?

please help me
