VFS - exact steps for re-schedule

Somebody please confirm exact steps for re-scheduling a Visitor visa interview appointment at Mumbai Consulate, scheduled online.

- Click on Reschedule/Cancel Appointment
- Enter details
- Click on reschedule
- When does it ask us to pick up the date that we want???

Has anybody tried rescheduling in-person? How was the experience? Do you get an earlier date as compared to whats available on the internet? Please help!

Hi,
Haven't used it personally, have heard from someone who has:

Click on the Reschedule Appointment
Click No (in "Do you have BEP ID" screen)
Click Continue
Enter the details asked for
Next screen shows a table which lists your appointment, select and and click Continue
A warning pop-up will appear that " Rescheduling can be done only once", Click on Yes to continue
A calendar will be shown where the free slots will be displayed
Click again

But the ONLY disadvantage is the rescheduling is allowed only once.

But I am not too sure how it works if you get into reschedule screen and then realize there are no dates earlier than what you want, or no dates you want. I donno if you are allowed to try to change again sometime later or not. I mean I am not sure if you are allowed to attempt to change ONLY ONCE OR you can change only once. Hope someone in the forum can let us know.
