Hello Guys,
I need some advice regarding the application of my parents' visitor visa.
I want my parents to come to my graduation ceremony, but I am not sure if they will get Visitor Visa this third time or not.
Actually, I came to US in January 2013 as a student, to marry a guy I was engaged with. After few months my parents and my married brother applied for their visitor visa and the visa got rejected. Some people told me that it got rejected because my brother also applied along with my parents. So, the next time only my parents applied for the visa, where my husband sponsored their trip. Unfortunately, it also got rejected. According to my parents, the consulate was suspicious about my coming here as a student and getting married (which makes sense).
Now, I don't know if I should have my parents try again for the visa or not. Many people say the graduation time is the the best time to apply for Visitor Visa, but considering this situation I am doubtful if my parents will get visa.
Should I ask my parents to apply individually?
P.S. My father is a retired businessman, got no source of income to show, but has enough savings to self sponsor the trip and owns a lot of properties to show strong home ties.
