Is it ok to take a printout of my online bank statement?

I am applying for B2 visa and I have a doubt regarding the bank statement, can I take a print out of my bank statement from the online bank site, or shall I go personally to the bank and take it from there?
and should it be for the last three or six months?

Go to the bank and take a letter of the current balance. Print out the last 3 months statements and carry them. It is unlikely you will be asked to show either but it is always good to have them on you just in case.
