  • My parents Visitor Visa was rejected

    Hi All,

I had prepared the required documents as suggested by this website. I also prepared my parents to face the interview.

My parents went for the interview 15mts before on dec-1-2005 and when their turn came in, their documents were collected by one person. When their turn came for the interview, it seems, the CO asked only one question

"Do you have only son who is now sponsoring you?"

My father told "yes" and CO immediately stamped rejected. I dont know why is that. The reason marked was "possible immigrant".

My parents could not explain to them that they have 2 daughters settled in india but at that moment they could not react very fast as we never know in what intention the question was asked. Immediately they were asked to clear the place. we are now very dejected.

Would anyone suggest the way to re-apply. Is there is a separate process for reapplication or we need to again book slot in the website (now march is not even open).

    please help.

    Thanks

    Sorry to hear about that.

You have to start from first. Keep trying.

Hope next time they will go through your documentation.

They like our money but they don't want to hear our words.

    Good luck.

Even I feel the same. They almost earn 100$'s for every 10 minutes.
And they know once rejected ppl will surely come back for another interview.
Keep trying and book another appointment...

Obviously they want our money !

That is why they removed the restrictions on the number of times you can apply ... before it was 3 times after which you use to be barred for 3-5 years from applying ... now they just want you to keep trying again and again for as long as you can afford it !!!

This seems like right out of Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi" episode. No Soup for you! No VISA for you!

I am so sorry to see so few people have so much power over lives of other people. Only time and societal shift can change this. Not looking at documents and not interviewing thoroughly is just criminal.

Alas! we are at the whim and fancy of the representatives of a free society who are just too bored to listen properly.
