  • Parents US visa help

    Hi

I NEED a quick help. heres my scenario.

I'm in H4 VISA. MY HUSBAND IS IN H1 visa.
My mom is Malaysian citizen. dad is Indian citizen. I have a younger sis and brother.

We applied US tourist visa for my parents in 2012 June. for the first time we sponsored their visa. The interview was in chennai. But it got rejected for both.
later we applied only for my mom in 15 days then also it got rejected.

We tried for my mom again in oct 2012 in Malaysian embassy but it got rejected. In all the three cases it was 214(b) rejection.

My parents do not have a property in India. My dad and mom are doing Business.

Currently they are settled in Malaysia for past two yrs.

Its been two years i saw my parents. So we are planning to apply visa again
My mom is 50 years old and dad is 56 years. both of them running business. they earn about 30,000 Malaysian ringgit per month( if we convert to indian rupee it is 50,000).

This time they are planning to sponsor them self. they are spending money themselfs. Their visa interview is booked for tomorrow.

Now they have all documents in hand.

both of them together they earn 30,000 mal ringgit per month

Bank statements ( they have 52,000 rinigt in bank)
    tax returns
    business documents
    ancestral property
    my sis and bro photographs

All these documents is enough for them to show in the interview? I'm really worried and tensed. PLease can you help me?

Documents are okay. They should have applied from Malaysia in the first attempt itself.

You said their combined income 30,000 Ringgits and if convert in to Indian rupees, it is 50,000 but it is not correct. If their income is 30,000 Ringgits it will be Rs.500,000 approx, which is absolutely fine. But if their income is Rs.50,000 in Indian currency, that will be 3,000 Ringgits approximately, which shows their weak financial status.

Can you post their previous interview details?
Where are your brother and sister and what they are doing?

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.

VO: WHOM ARE YOU GNG TO VIST IN THE US?
      MOM : MY DAUGHTER

VO: WHAT IS YOUR ANNUAL INCOME?CAN YOU SHOW YOUR HUSBANDS INCOME AND BUSINESS DOCU?
MOM: SHE TOLD some income randomly. she showed the documents.

They shouldn't take USA visa interview easy like that. They must prepare well with basic and common questions and should be very confident at the interview.

Filling genuine information in DS160 form and repeat the same answers at the interview is must. The information, which they filled and said in their previous interviews is very much handy with visa officers. So, beware of miss match.

If they can workout and perform well at interview, good chances are there to get the visa this time.

        Good luck.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.

Yes today they are well prepared as in the DS 160 form. We have given my moms businees income and my Dads income separately in their respective DS 160. Financially their income together is fine.
All I'm worried is even with all the docu in hand if he rejects we dnt know what else to do.
Fingers crossed! Hoping for the best.

Congrats. If you can post interview questions & answers, it will be helpful to others who are in the same boat.
