Gap between USA visits, URGENT!!!!

Hi,

My mother visited me on Nov 22, 2014 and will visit UK to visit my sister on March 21, 2015 (4 months gap) and I had planned to bring her back to USA on May 9th 2015 and then continue her stay until Nov 6th 2015 (for 6 months). Recently I was told that there should be a longer gap between two visits, only that I can't figure for certain how much longer should the gap be?
I am contemplating to change her return date from UK to USA but not sure how much gap should I keep? Will 1.5 months gap is enough or should I make it 3 months or 4 months gap between her US trips? Will she able to stay for another 6 months in USA after her trip back from UK?

Can someone please respond at the earliest as I am really in shortage of time as this news was out of the blue and I wasn't prepared?

As per the law, there's no fixed gap between the trips is defined. With a genuine reason/purpose/ in emergency, one can enter as many times as required till the expiry date of visa and can stay as indicated in the i94, each time.

But, B2 visa is a non immigrant visa and it's just a privilege to a foreign nationalist who comes to the USA to fulfill their tourism/personal/health needs and it carries no rights. It only assures visa holder to reach up to one of the POEs in the USA and it's the pure discretion of the POE authorities, whether to allow the visa holder in to the country or not and if allowed, what's the duration of stay etc.

It is advised to spend more time in the home/foreign country than in the USA. It doesn't appear to be good, if someone comes back just in a couple of months, after spending 6months in the USA. It's better to spend at least year before entering into the USA for casual visits. But with a valid reason/in emergency, it is okay to come back as required.

Now a days, people are reporting very unusual incidents about deporting and cancelation of visitor visas. So use it wisely.

Okies!. I will try to keep a gap of 4 months atleast and hope it works out.
