Is it mandatory for a person to be in US for one year before bringing his/her parents to USA as visitors. I have sent my parents for visitors visa after I was in USA for one and half months. Visa officer reject saying that they did not get the eligibility yet. I sent them for visa again after 3 months. By that time my stay in US was for 5 months. Visa officer rejected citing the same reason that they did not get the eligibility yet. Then I sent my mother in law and they approved Visa for her. So, just want to get opinions from experts in this group if parents eligibility to visit USA will depend on whether his son/daughter is in USA for at least one year?

There is no such requirement. Their visitor visa is independent of you. Now, if you are listed as their funding source for their visit, then you must demonstrate that you have the funds to meet their travel and stay. If you can show adequate funds it does not matter whether you have been here one day or one year. Of course, other aspects of you must check out as well, such as what is your visa status here, where you work, and so on. Essentially it has got to be a stable and credible funding source.
