Difference between B1/B2 and B2 (medical/tourism)

IN the DS160 online form, there are two options for the B1/B2 visa type

1. B1/B2 : Business/Personal
2. B2 : Medical/Tourism

The purpose of my parent's trip is both personal and tourism. Which option should I select? Does it make a difference?

On of my parent's DS160 is marked with B1/b2 and the other one has B2.

Most forums recommend using the B1/B2 option. Is there an issue in selecting B2. It refers to both Medical and Tourism and the purpose of their trip is just Tourism.

Any suggestions from past experience will be helpful.
