Visitor Visa - Extension - 1 day delay in departure
Hello,
My Parents visited US in month of Apr, 2014. I had applied extension before their i-94 expiry. I got the approval notice after they left the country. The only thing I'm concerned about is, there was 1 day delay in their departure as per the new i-94 date.
Following are dates of their arrival, departure etc. -
Arrival date: 03-Apr-2014 (Original I-94 was given for 6 months i.e. 02 Oct 2014)
Applied Extension: 11- Sep-2014 (Requested for extension till 15-Jan-2015)
Received confirmation/receipt: 16-Sep-2014
Departure: 16-Jan-2015 (I didn’t realize that their extension was requested for the stay till 15-Jan-2015)
Case was approved on : 11-Mar-2015
Got the approval notice : 16-Mar-2015
Extension is granted only till 15-Jan-2016 but my parents had left US on 16-Jan-2015. What should I do now ? Should I contact USCIS and inform them ? Will there be any problem in my parents' future US visit ?
