Rather specific question about renewal.
I have a friend that's living in Japan, her nationality is Peruvian, and she has a US Visa that she received about 10 years ago that is ready to be expired.
She asked me to help her with visa renewal since she doesn't speak English nor Japanese and after researching this, all the information says she has to be a current resident of Peru.
Is this true? Is it possible to apply for a renewal within Japan? I believe her visa is a tourist visa so it shouldn't be that difficult.
