Hello,
My mother and sister have an appointment at the consolate in Chennai. My uncle (Mom's brother) is sponsoring their trip. My sister (younger) is going with my Mother. We are telling the reason as visiting relatives. Actually it is my cousin brother's wedding. My sister is 23 yrs old and working in the IT sector. At the moment she doesn't have a very hefty bank balance either. But my father is in India (he doesn't have a passport leave alone a visa) and I am also working in India in a leading IT firm, am still unmarried.
Do you think it is alright if they go together for the visa interview? My mom is working as a teacher in the government school, and none of them have been to the US before. they want to go for a month in April. All the documents are in place. Please let me know if there seems to be a problem in both of them going together.
