Is there a need to get H1 stamped on the passport of the sponsor?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have my H1 approval notice and but to sponsor my parents visitor visa do I need to get it actually stamped on my passport? or just photocopies of form I-797 (H1 B approval notice) would do ?
