  • Port of entry

Both my father-in-law & mother-in-law got their visas. My mother-in-law would come alone. She can not understand and speak english. She would have the letter explaining everything and she would hand it over to officer at port of entry. Is this okay at port of entry?

If they have to ask her some questions, what would they do? Is it going to cause a problem?

    Thanks.

    1. That's ok.

    2. They will call someone from the immigration line who can understand her language and ask him/her to translate. There are always Indians in the line.
