Property Evaluation?

I know that the property has to evaluated by a CA for the vbisitor but wud like to know if we need a statement for Fixed Deposit and stuff also(Do they need to be evaluated too?) or is it enuf to take the xerox of all of them

When someone makes the evaluation of net worth, you have to mention everything.

If it is only property evaulation then a Civil Eng or an Architect can do it for you. While a CS can evaulate your net worth/asset (property, fixed deposits, policies etc etc).

I would suggest the one from the CA becoz it includes all.

However my parents had taken the evaulation of the house(by an Architect) and took certificates/statements of fixed deposits, policies etc.

When my mom tried to do her property evaluation..the CA told her that he needs Affidavit of support .,only then property evaluation is done.I have never herad abt this before..any suggestions wud be appreciated..Hoping to hear from u sonujan

sounds strange to me.....why does he need I134 to evaluate a property in India?

He does not have to do any special evaltion for the sake of the interview. My parents did not get anything done through a CA so am not too aware of the process......What my parents got was a document of the property's current value/worth. This document is a general evaluation which they can use for other purposes too. Carried statements of other bank deposits/policies they hold.
