Applying for B2 Visa for my parents to attend my graduation

Hi,

I am currently a graduate student soon approaching my graduation. I am planing to apply for visa for my parents and brother together. My dad is self-employed, mother is a home maker and brother is still studying. I am confused as to how much is the bare minimum monthly salary that should be put while filling DS-160 form as a safe side. I don't want their visa to get rejected for any financial reasons. Also, is there anything in particular I should be careful about?

There is no prescribed "minimum." Fill out whatever is the truth. The worst thing any potential applicant for a US visa can do is lie to or provide misleading information to the State Dept.
