Multiple visits in same year on B2 visa

Hello,

I am planning to call my mother to US in the month of June - 2015 for 4 weeks and then again in Oct 2015 for 3 months. I wanted to know if there would be any problem at the POE? Or should there be a longer gap between her visits? Please help.

P.S: My parents visited me in June 2013 for a month.

Theoretically there should be no issue. As a matter of fact there is no limit to number of trips or gaps you need to keep between your trips, you make to US on the B1/B2 visa.

However it is to the discretion of the officer at POE, if he feels anything suspicious (intent to migrate etc), he may deny entry. Just be sure to answer correctly, truthfully and confidently at the POE if asked why 2 close trips in the same year.
