Regarding Visitor VISA sponsorship

I'm planning to bring my parents on visitor's VISA to US. But I'm not the one who is going to sponsor there VISA. It will be sponsored by my cousin sister and her husband.

So considering this scenario what should we answer if in VISA interview they ask my parents why didn't your son sponsored your trip.

I came over here recently so its just the case of not able to show enough funds on record for my parent's trip.

Kindly help me in this.

They should tell the truth. They can add that you all are a close family and that the cousin regards them as her own parents (assuming that is indeed the case).
