Typo in Appointment Letter

I had taken an online appointment for my mother through ttvisas.com in september. Now when the interview is close. I observed that one of the character in passport number is wrong. Instead of say "P123N123" it is "D123N123". So instead of P there is D.

Would it create any problem at the time of interview.

They use the appointment letter basically to check against your passport number and let you in. But there is not much of a difference so call or walk into the TTS local office and talk ot them what has happened and request them and they would be able to guide you.

It happend to us when my parents appear for visa last time. I had entered 2 instead of Z in the passport number. That time it was TTS service, they said just highlight it with red circle in the appointment letter and go.

No one care about that. Even that is there is TTS instructions it self.

I hope it is the same even now.. Just check with VSF anyway..
