Address different in passport and ds-156

My parents have their USA visitor visa interview this week. The address in their passport is different from the address they are currently residing in. meaning that the address I put in all the documents sent from the sponsor's(my husband's) side and the applicant's side is different from the address in their passports. I am very curious to know if this would cause any problem. I would appreciate any immediate response and suggestions.
I have used the address in the passport for the application. Should they change it to the currently residing address? Please help
