Appointments in jan2006 postponed??

Hi all
I was going thru the chennai consulate for some info and i saw that all the appointments made between dec30th and jan31st are postponed to feb sometime..they told that they wud inform us thru an Email.Did anyone get a email for the appointment being postponed ??
I have an appt booked for my mother for jan 9th.Not sure wat shud we do now.

contact VFS local office or email them requesting the details for the same. They might be able to help you with that.

I have called them and they asked us to wait for the email .
But how long do i wait ?
My moms apt is on Jan 9 2006 so d i wait till the 6th or 7th ?
I was just wondering if anyone has got any such email as yet

with so much difficulty, I got an appointment on jan4th, waiting since October2005,these people just think they can do anything to those from so called "uncivilized" world,they dont care about our sufferings or concern.

What if we don't get an e-mail?? Can we assume that our appointment is still good in Jan.
Is it only for the people who got an e-mail?? Is it OK to go to consulate if we don't get an e-mail??? Tons of questions..

Even i have those questions..and my mom wud have to travel from hyd!so shud we send her on that day if we dont get email?wat if she reaches there and her name isnt on the list??Thats ridiculous

I Got Mail

Hi All
I got a mail from "USVFS" <[email protected]>
saying that our appointment got postponed 1 day...
I took 2 appoitments for different applicants and I only got mail for one applicant.
