Sponsoring B2 visa for my parents from Canada

Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen and planning for my parents to visit Canada during the summer. We have already applied for their Canadian tourist visa We are also thinking of applying for the B2 visa as we are planning a visit of atleast Boston and New York. I am not really sure what is the exact process for sponsoring them. I don't want to depend on my friends and other relatives in the US. I am not sure what documentation i can provide, does anyone here have similar experience. I would really appreciate any advise I can get

I am planning to send the following or already send some of these documents for their Canadian visa

1. Scan of Canadian passport and citizenship cert.
2. Statement from my bank account for the last 3 months
3. Scan of my pay stubs
4. Sponsorship letter to the consulate in India
