Is it legal to give birth at US while on torist visa?

my wife and me are travelling to US on here #8 month, we have a valid medical insurance there and could have a proof of fund. What if we admit at the boarder that we are here to give birht. is there something illegal about that that the office my deny or entery ?
What else is possible to do on order to make it safely

It's not illegal for anyone to give birth in the U.S.

But it isn't advisable to state that your visit is to give birth.

What if I can not conceal it or hide it? it will be obvious and I dont want to lie otherwise it will be a problem . does having a valid insurance and proof of fund make it right?

The airline might not allow your wife to board if the is that close to delivery.
