Visa Rejected for In-Laws

My In-laws visa got rejected on 12/23 @kolkata consulate. Here are the questions they asked.

VO: When did you retired
FIL: End of Jan 2003
VO: Where did you were wroking?
FIL : WBSEB
VO: How much is your pension?
FIL: Rs xxxxx
VO: How may childrens do you have
FIL: We have two daughter
VO: Who is in USA?
FIL: My elder daughter is in USA
VO: Who is sponsoring your trip ?
FIL: My SIL is sponsoring the trip.
VO: Sorry, cannot grant your visa, there is no enough tie-up. (214b)

And while my In-laws were leaving the counter the VO said that now a days if there is not enough tie-ups they are not granting any visa, coz there are so many terrorist activities going now a days in USA.

We are very very dispointed. The VO did not see any of the sponsorers document.
When can I reapply ? Since the rejection was under 214B what are the chances now?

Any information will be highly appreciated.

thats was sad to know. Well when they said so may be your in laws should have expressed their keen desire to come back to India. It is very important to show ties to India and to show them that they will not settle down here in US.

YOu can apply anytime. Just prepare a good case. Talk abt theor other daughter if she is in India. She will be a good tie esp if she is unmarried or if she has a kid. Ask them to show ties to their parents or siblings. Property might also help.
