    Hi All,

    I have had this forum help me in many a way so I feel obliged to give it back to all of you those who come forth and share your experiences here-
    B2 Visa for me (brother 29, working for a well known international firm, paralysed 6 years ago using a wheelchair) and dad 60, working for a friends firm, mom had previously visited States holds a B1/B2.

    Purpose of visit- Sister's Grad walk ( She is married, her husband on H1 since the last 4 years, her status on OPT-employed with no pay stubs yet)

    Date of interview- 4th May 2015, Time-11.30 am, Venue- Hyderabad Consulate

    Attended a group appointment (me and dad)
    Documents carried:
    1.DS 160
    2.Appointment letter
    3. Passport
    4. Office ID (both me and dad)
    5. Pay stubs (6 months)
    6. Bank Statements
    7. NOC from work place
    8. Property Evaluation
    9. My brother inlaw's docs though dad was self sponsor but to be safe my brother in law sent all his financial docs
    VO: Why are you going?
    Me:Sis grad cermony
    VO: How about you to my dad?
    Dad: Daughter's grad cermony
    VO: Which University?
    Me: .... Uni
    VO: What do you do?
    Me: I am a ..... at ....
    On hearing my company- VO: Can I have the badge?
    Me: Gave my company ID/badge
    After thoroughly verifying the ID- VO: What is your income?
    Me: ,,,,
    VO to dad: What do you do?
    Dad: I am....at....
    VO: Confirms dad's company
    VO to dad: What is your income?
    Dad: ......
    VO to dad: Do you have any property?
    Dad: Yes I also get additional income on that as well of .....
    VO to dad: How long are going for?
    Dad:3 weeks/ 21 days
    VO to dad: How many children do you have?
    Dad: 2
    VO: Looking into the computer- Oh she is married?
    Dad: Yes and my son inlaw is also supporting me.
    VO to me:What do you do?
    I repeated and elaborated
    VO: What about your mom?
    Dad: She already has a stamping B1/B2
    VO: Are you married?
    Me: No am unmarried
    VO: Your Visas are issued Thank you
    We: Thank you Mam

    About 7 to 10 minutes.
    And Visas approved!
