Visitor visa stamped on old passport

Hello,

My father is visiting US. He has valid US visa until July 2016 stamped on old passport. Now he has new passport with a different passport number as old one is expired. Is he good to travel to US or any action is required for his new passport?

I would appreciate your assistance with this regard.

He should carry both old and new passports and show where ever it is required. This is what I did.
