  • Overstayed Visa Waiver Program as minor

can anyone help me with this?

When i was 15years old I moved to the US (in 2004) with my parents and two of my brothers.
My parents had requested a visa, so we had to go out of the US; while we were out, they requested my parents additional information, so the lawyer suggested we'd go back to the US. Doing so we entered with the visa waiver program (Italian passport). By not having any more money to pay for visa and lawyer, my parents did not go forward, so we overstayed our visas.
In 2010 my parents decided to go back to Italy, and decided to tell me about the overstay in the US.
I left the following year, April 15, 2011, at the age of 22.
I recently read that i would have a 10 year bar.
Now my problem is that my new job in Italy, requires me to attend a two week course in Dallas at the American Airlines flagship university (I work at a Handling company in the airport).
Is there any way that i can still apply for a visa to the US to attend this course? or having a 10 year bar is an automatic no?

Thank you all in advance for your help!
