Tourist visa marraige

I want to get engaged to my girfriend and get married when she is here this summer. Hopefully she will say yes but I'm tired of long distance relationship. Is it possible to get married and maybe she would stay with me forever in america. I'm US citizen and I want her to live with me. How can I go about doing this?

If she already has tourist visa, normally visitors are allowed to stay 6 months. After marriage, you can file her green card through concurrent filing asap. Sometimes documents gathering takes 1-2 months. I will suggest consulting with Immigration lawyer to go about.
