Can I use B1/B2 for my personal trip to US

Hi,

I got B1/B2 VISA when I was working at my previous company. But never used to the travel for the office work purpose. But at that time I got the VISA for 10 years(Multiple entries). Can I use that VISA to visit my brother in USA?

If yes, do I need to carry any documents and be prepared for the inspection at the port of entry, as this will be my first entry into US? Can some one please let me know?
