Question : visa application for sister in law

Hello,

I am planning to invite my Parents and my sister in law. I am sponsoring my parents. The question I have is about the visa application for my sister in law.
Few months back my brother passed away. In such a situation, what are her chances of getting visa? She is an engineer and is working in India. In this case should I be sponsoring her or can we apply for her visa where she is sponsoring herself. What documents she will need to submit to consulate?
