What are the chances of getting visitor visa for mother (widow)

Hi,

My mother has an appointment at Chennai consulate on January 30th for the visitor visa and I am reading the forum to get an idea of the visa approval rate. Seems that there is high reject rate if the person is a widow. Here is the backgound..

- My mother has four kids (2 sons - one in India and the other(me) in US, two daughters - both in India and one unmarried)
- Husband passed away 4 years back
- Planning to stay in US for 3 months
- Has property (2 houses) and gets pension

Could anyone please send any suggestions for the interview and also any tips.
