I just want to say after a long hard few months my son has finally got his Visa to travel to the USA with his children to Disney. Due to his past and having 6 convictions in total. His last conviction was 4 yrs. ago for BATTERY, but never been sent to prison we did not think he would get his visa. We are not the kind of people who take pot luck or risks and wanted to follow the rules and procedures correctly. Reading through some statements I never thought he would get the approval but today it happened. His appointment was scheduled in Belfast Ireland and I must say we found this cheaper to travel to Ireland than it would have been to travel to London. He took all documentation and supporting evidence with him, the interviewer was very approachable and friendly making my son feel comfortable and relaxed. They asked questions about his past and what led up to his convictions, where he wanted to travel to and why, after which I am delight to say they approved his VISA. Now we can have our family holiday without worrying if he would get stopped and returned on the next flight home. In my sons case it shows been honest is the best way.
