My Birth Certificate in Original??

Hello There,

I am looking to get visitor visa for my parents within this month. I have already booked an appointment and made payments etc.

I saw in link [https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visitor...uments/#child] that my parents need to present original birth certificate of mine. Currently Birth Certificate is with me. Will it be okay, if they carry photocopy[attested if required]?

Also, since I am here from last 4-5 months on H1B. I cant sponsor them and i am worried about self sponsor approval. Although, My father is a Central Government employee and they have around 4-5 L in bank accounts so far. Is it possible I can represent that self sponsor and sponsor from me as well[If required]?

Yeah, I am confused with why this website says original birth certificate is required. This looks misguiding information. I am planning to send notarized copy of birth certificate. To answer other question, your father's employment ties should be a strong reason. However, getting visa is sole VO's discretion.
