Name change on passport with valid US visa

My name in the current passport(Indian) is 'Aswin Pradeep Cacatte' and the same was printed on my US tourist visa. As my name was printed completely on the 'given name' field, my surname field was empty on the passport. Thus I had 'FNU' on my visa and surname part bearing my full name.

As I wanted to match my passport name to the college/school documents and other ID proofs (Aswin Cacatte Pradeep), I decided to get a re-issued passport with Aswin in given name field and Cacatte Pradeep in surname field. As such my current passport has been cancelled as I will get the new one in the coming days.

My question now is, how do I get the name change updated on the US Visa? Do I have to apply for a new Visa or carry the same from the current cancelled passport?
