  • Visitors Visa B1/B2 Expired when I was under 18

    Hello,

I entered the U.S with a tourist visa b1/b2 when I was 16 years old in June of 2009, my family decided to overstayed and until today we are still in the U.S. I am about to graduate from college now with a bachelor's degree in computer science. My visa expired a while back when I was still under 18 years of age. My question is, is there anyway I can be sponsor by a company for a H1B visa, or would I have any penalty for overstaying? If I want to to apply to a job and have a company sponsor me, would I have to go out of the country and do all the process from my country of citizenship or can I do all the process inside the U.S?

Unfortunately I did not qualify for the dream act.

    Thank You.

Assuming you are older than 18.5years,

    No you can't get a H1-B.

Marriage to a US citizen is the easiest way to normalize your status.
