Filled up DS-160 and took an appointment successfully. Documents collection and interview preparation is on the way. Have some questions:
Basically they are travelling for tourism purpose which is self sponsored and also to meet a relative. The relation is like their daughter's brother in law is the USA.
1. In DS-160 form details and point of contact in the USA is the relative (daughter's brother in law). So while going through the list of documents found that itinerary is required to be present. Frankly speaking only after VISA approval they will plan (self plan) for travel and book tickets.
My question is: Do we still need itinerary? If yes from some travel agent or plain doc about places of interest?
2. Do they require to show any proof of relation: daughter's brother in law. As they have provided details in form ds-160 and planning to visit them for a day or two.
