  • Invite or not to invite

I am a PhD student on F1 visa. I have a friend in India who wants to visit USA. I want to help her get the visa but I am not sure if my invite will go against her application or support her application.

    Points in her favor:
    1. She has a stable government job as an Ayurvedic doctor in Himachal Pradesh.
    2. She has sufficient financial resources to fund her trip.
    3. Her father, brother and all her relatives are in India.
    4. She wants to visit US for just a week.

    Points against her visa:
    1. She is unmarried and under 30 years of age.
    2. She doesn't have a property in India on her name.

    My questions:
    1. Should I send her a letter of invitation? Will my letter support her case or would it seem as if I would marry her? ( We don't intend to. )
    2. She has a stable job (Rs 25-30k per month) and a saving of about Rs 2-3 lacs so far. Should she save more before applying for US visa?
    3. How likely is it that she will get a visa? Should she even bother applying?
    4. Any other advice?

She needs more savings, as you mentioned her salary is 25-30k monthly plus only 2-3 lacs in savings. Even 1 week of trip to USA can cost anywhere INR 1-1.5 lacs. Who will spend 6 months of their salary - just for 1 week trip to US. Only thing which works in her favor is job but as per US standards it is only 400-500$ which illegal immigrants in US tend to earn through illegal jobs in 5-7 days.

Only thing which work in her favor is job, but it is not high paying job. If her parents have good bank balance, she can use them as co-sponsor for her trip.
