Sponsor parents when my visa has only 5 months left

Is there any chance of my parents getting a visa when I have my L1 till Nov 20 2015?

I am planning to bring them for a month. Is it better to file for my extension and then apply for their visa?

Please advise.

Your visa validity has nothing to do with Parents visitor visa. My Mom received 10 years visitor visa last week, my visa expires in start of Oct 2015.
