Is wife of US citizen (where wife & husband are both living abroad) eligible for B1?

Background

I got my US citizenship in '07 and since then I have been living in India. My wife applied for and got her green card but since I was settled in India - she did not continue the once a year visit and consequently we got a letter saying that her greencard was being cancelled.

I don't want a green card for her - but it would be nice if she and I can go to the US for short visits?

My question:

Is the wife of a US citizen eligible to apply for a tourist i.e. B2 visa?

Yes, she is eligible for B2 visa. I don't see any issues with it.
