need help for FEE details for procedure before nov16th

Hi

i need help .Mine is confusing situtaion.

I took appointment before nov 16th through TTS services for my mom.I got the appointment date as Jan 23rd.

I told my brother in india to take the DD for 4600 /-
HE went to the bank and he paid 4600/- in cash and got the receipt just as in new procedure .[he is not aware of change in rules and so he followed the rules told by bank people ]

Now my question is can my Mom take that receipt for the interveiw on Jan 23rd or should she take only the demand draft of 4600-/

please let me know ...

If u have taken appt through TTS, u have to follow the TTS process.

Appointment through TTS are valid ONLY if they were taken before Oct 2005. I hope you did take the appt before that.

Just follow the old process TTS process if you have taken a valid appt. You would need to take 2 DDs - application fees and visa assurance fees and 1 DD or cash for TTS courier charges

1. DD for 441
2. DD for 4,600
3. DD for 2,300

Do I need to take these DD from HDFC only? or can I take the DD's from any other bank, Please advice

hi

u need to take DD thru HDFC only if you are making an appont thru VFS. But if ur appotn is thru TTS, then you can get DD's from any nationalized bank enlisted in the consulates web site. chennai.usconsulate.gov
