My brother, his wife and their kids (4 yr old and 1.5 yr old) had the visitor visa interview on December 22 in Delhi consulate. Their appointment was for 11:15 am. They reached the consulate at 10:45 AM. In their forms, they had stuck the passport size photograph instead of the 2" x 2" size photographs. So they were asked to get the appropriate photographs from a nearby studio. They returned back to the consulate with appropriate photographs at 11:15 AM. They were inside the consulate by 11:30 AM. But they had to wait inside for the interview till 2:30PM.
The kids were quite patient during the waiting period, but they started crying as soon as they reached the interview window. So the consular asked my sister-in-law to stand away with the kids, so he can ask questions to my brothers. The questions that he asked were only about my brother's job profile. He did not ask for any documents. He did not even ask when he was planning to travel. The whole thing lasted about 5 minutes.
