Time Frame Between B1/B2 Approval Date and Travel Date

Hi Experts,

Quick Question- Is there any time frame criterion between B1/B2 visa approval date and travel date, that must be met?
If yes then please can you mention the same.
FYI.. My parents are planning to get their B1/B2 visa done next month (i.e. July 2015) but they might travel to the US after 6-7 months (i.e. Feb-Mar 2016).

No time frame is specified. However, in the DS-160 form they have to state their intended date of travel and they will be asked for the same at the visa interview.
