  • Urgent question

    My parents visa got rejected on grounds 214b.

    I am pregnant and now my friends say, I can say that am pregnant and have no help here and apply to the Indian embassy in the USA and they wud fax message to US consulate in India asking them to grant visa and this way may have been granted after rejection, is this true? Do u think I can do this?

      Heh... there are referred visa appointments, which are vetted by embassy officials. Some government officials take advantage of these. HOwever, its a personal favor, and an Indian government official will be unlikely to call it in unless they know you, very well.

        Visa is not granted on the basis of recommendation of anykind. It is purely on the basis of applicant's interview with the CO. Keep trying..

          Well... not exactly true, but true for most people. In the shady and underhanded realm of world bureaucracy, everyone scratches everyone elses back.
