  • visa rejection 3 time

    Hello All:

I need urgent help.My mom was rejected visa for 3rd time in Chennai on Jan 5th. Same cause section 214B. I am vey saddened about this.

Can some body let me know if her brother who is a US citizen can sponsor her as we had mentioned about this in the application form and I am the only daughter on H4 dependant visa.My husband was sponsoring my mom

If so what are the docs needed and where can I get info regarding brother sponsoring sister.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    Very very sad

My Parents Visa also got rejected on Jan 3rd in Chennai but it was a first attempt. Getting rejected three times is a really a sad thing. What was the duration between each attempt?

I dont think changing the sponsor to your mother's brother will help. Because all they want to know is whether you will come back after the visit. The problem for all of us is, eventhough the intentions are true that we are sponsoring only for a short visit and the parents will go back, how do we make the consular believe? If there is a information from the consulate on what basis they reject or provide visa, that would be great, but they cannot and wont say that in public.

From all the posts I read in the past few weeks, it looks like the chances are very much better in two cases,

    1. Umarried children are back home
    2. Working and still you have few years of service left in your current job.

For others I think it is pure luck.

      Don't worry too much.

Your mom don't have enough luck.

My parents got rejection one time.

Before my parents got rejection i thought how the people get rejection?

Number of rejections is not mean you can't get next time.

      Keep trying.

I would not make changes to the DS-156 at this point, otherwise you need to support the chnages too. If you failed to support then VO will get his chance to reject your mom application.

      I don't think single daughter/son caused rejection.

Can you write all the questions during last 3 attempts?

      Good luck next time.

        visa rejection 3 time

Thank you for all your in put.

The first time and second my mom was not asked any questions nor saw any of her or our docs that we had sent. They just gave her 214 B saying we cannot grant visa. But this time we were supposed to be lucky they saw our docs as well as she was asked lot of questions as to who is in US? Who is in India with her for all she gave promt replies and she supported her talk with her docs to support ties back home. I believe they took my file and she just flipped thru our papers and finally said according to American rules we cannot grant you visa.

I dont understand what is American rules. Also my mom told me she was very polite to her.
Now I dont understand what do i do. Do I have to take another appointment or ask her brother to sponsor her.

As long as her brother did not file any immigrant petition for her, she has chance to get a visa in any future attemps

            hi,
I sorry to hear about the rejections.
my moms visa has also been rejected three times, and we are unable to figure out how to approach the interview. ofcourse she is a widow and all three children are in usa, so that is going against her.
i am hoping to find a good consultant who can assess her case and really advice on what to do next. in case you know any such consultant, please let us know.
            thanks andn all the best

              Visa rejection 3 time

I do not know any good immigration attorney. If anybody could please let me know a good immigration attorney who specialises in B2 visa that would help me a lot so that if we could get some possible reasons for rejection we could plan accordingly and apply otherwise their is no point in going and applying what a waste of money and mental agony!!!!l
